The 3rd Transatlantic Expedition

People say that the third time lucky. That is why I am heading again to the Atlantic. I would like to set off on the 29th of May 2016 from the mainland part of New York with the intention of reaching Europe. I am dreaming of reaching Portugal on my 70th birthday. I am determined and I believe that I will accomplish that. It is supposed to be an independent, sole and without any help from outside excursion, just like the last two. I will start for the third time however for the first time I will take the Northern Route from one continent to the other. If I achieve this, I will be the first Pole and the first man in history who accomplished that. It will be a unique, difficult but also exciting journey. More…

The 2nd Transatlantic Expedition

Start: Lisbon, 5th October 2013, at 16:00 local time, that is 17:00 Polish time and 15:00 UTC.

End: on 17th April 2014 about 23:20 UT I reached Port Canaveral in the Space Flight Center in Florida

I spent 167 days on the ocean and traveled the route of 6 710 nautical miles/ 12 427 km.

The 1rst Transatlantic Expedition

Start: Dakar 26th October 2010 at 15.30 Polish time.

End: Acarau in Brasil, 2nd February 2011 at 21.50 Polish time.

After 98 days, 23 hours, 42 minutes and 5394 km as the first Pole and third man in the World I kayaked alone across the Atlantic.
